Michael Grant

Michael A. Grant is a calm, collected (and often conscientious)
clarinettist, hailing originally from the mythical land of Scarborough.
After completing a master's degree in chemistry in 2015, he decided that
a life in the laboratory was not for him, and since then he has been
earning his keep by oscillating people's eardrums in various pleasing
manners.
As well as the clarinet, he is an adept bassoonist, saxophonist and
flautist. Consequently he often finds himself performing in all sorts of
ensembles, including orchestras, swing bands, musical theatre pit bands
and pop/rock tribute acts. When not engaging in musical pursuits he
enjoys a range of leisurely activities such as reading, swimming and
looking round shops without actually buying anything.
