Eddie Taylor - Trombone

Eddie is from Blackburn and started to learn Trombone at 12 years of age and soon joined a Military Band. At 15 he joined a local dance band that had residency in King Georges Hall. He went on to play with many Jazz bands in the North West of England. At age 21 he joined the Blackburn 'Mecca Band'. At 28 he formed his own band THE CLEVELAND SOUND that played together for 36 years!!!  Eddie's enthusiasm for music making is an inspiration,, THE DIXIE BEATS are delighted to have Eddie in the band.
