Musical history – Took up the guitar aged 12.

Played in Wigan Schools Stage Band, (later W.Y.J.O), from 16yrs old up to age 18.

Deputised in Dance Bands when my guitar teacher (the late Kenneth Walsh) was offered the gigs (but had to refuse due to his young family) & passed on my details.

Formed rock band ‘Fire & Ice’ with ex school friends 1979 to ’85.

In the wilderness,(not a band!) 1986 – 2000.

Founder member of ‘Persuasion’,(Rock n Pop band) 2000 to date. 

The last few months I have been thoroughly enjoying assisting in the rehearsals of ‘The Dixie Beats’ which has led me back to some long forgotten chords & tunes!
